Stay & Play – Faringdon Pre-School

10th October 2018

Dear Parents and Carers,

We, as a pre-school would really like to encourage the parents/carers of the children attending Faringdon Pre-school to join us for ‘stay and play’ sessions.

It is evident that the children would like to share the pre-school with a parent/carer.

We are asking that any parents/carers that can come in a join us for one session either 9.00-12.00 or 12.00-3.00, once or twice throughout each term. We appreciate that for some parents this can be difficult with other responsibilities but we welcome Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles along with younger siblings.

We would love for you to come along and share your child’s learning environment with them (you may even have fun and enjoy your visit).

We only need one parent/carer per session, please feel free to bring along a younger sibling but please remember that you will be responsible for them.

We would love your help with storytelling, painting activities, playdough and any other activities that you feel that you could contribute towards the children’s learning.

There will be a ‘Parent Stay and Play Rota’ up for you to sign up on to come and join us for play, exploration and learning fun.

We look forward to you joining us.

A Visit from Lennys Lizards

On Wednesday 25th January we had a great visit from Lennys Lizards. The children were intrigued with the reptiles that came to see us being able to hold, stroke and cuddle the animals as well as asking many relevant questions.

We have another exciting time ahead of us as Living Eggs are coming into Pre-school before Easter, the children will be able to watch the eggs hatch and care for the chicks for a week or so.
